3. OWNERSHIP OF SUBMISSIONS

All creative writing submitted to CreatiVerse — including poems, stories, lyrics, and any other content — remains the sole and exclusive property of the author. CreatiVerse does not claim ownership, copyright, or any intellectual property rights over your submissions.

4. SHUTER PUBLISHERS & PUBLISHING OPPORTUNITIES

Shuters Publishers, one of South Africa's leading educational publishers, may review submissions on the platform. However:

• CreatiVerse and Shuters do not own your submissions.
• Shuters may, at their sole discretion, identify writing of a certain quality or commercial viability and wish to enter into separate contracting and negotiation with the author.
• Any publishing agreement would be a separate arrangement between the author and Shuters, independent of CreatiVerse.
• No submission is guaranteed to result in a publishing contract or any commercial arrangement.

5. COMPETITION WINNERS

Weekly winner selections are based on engagement metrics (likes) and are final. No correspondence or dispute regarding winner outcomes will be entered into. We will only use winner contact details to notify them of their win and arrange prize delivery.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your account information and submission data only for as long as your account is active or as necessary to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payment processing is handled securely by Paystack. We do not store your credit card or banking details on our servers.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information held by us. To exercise these rights, please contact us through the platform.
